Kiara smiled.
After having their breakfast and changing,they left for Ataman City.
Ezekiel sold the phones to some local shops and exchanged money. As the mobile phones were in pretty good conditions, they got reasonable amount.
He booked a cab for them. In the cab, Kiara was dozing off, the side effects of the pain killers were kicking up. But she shook herself awake and said, "Keil why are we going there?"
Ezekiel turned to her and said, "I have a friend living there, he will be a great help to us now. "
She nodded and mumbled something but dozed to sleep putting her head on his shoulders. Ezekiel went stiff for a moment. When he saw her angelic little face, and her sleeping so calmly, he did not have the heart to disturb her sleep so he angled her head in a more comfortable position, on his shoulders .
Strangly, he didn't feel uncomfortable around her at all. Nor did he feel any threat. If anything, he felt as if she was one like him, for... him.
When Ezekiel glanced out of the window, his eyes deepened.
At first, he couldn't recall the place when he woke up in his new self. But when, Kiara said about the riot and blast, he recalled every thing. He had a friend, James, who lived in the city nearby. James had informed him about the war ,when it was going on.
He and James were childhood friends. They shared everything and we're bossom budies. James' father worked for his father, and was one of his most trusted men, but one day James' father died mysteriously and James moved here.
Even after asking again and again, James didn't say anything about his father's death, and only pleaded him to stop asking about it. He said that he didn't want to live with the Ruiz Clan anymore with his father gone, so he shifted.
But how could Ezekiel not under stand his friend?
It was as if he was distancing from them. But after, Ezekiel's constant pestering, they became friends again but James asked him not to ever tell him to go back to Ruiz Clan.
So Ezekiel did the same. From then on, James helped him in everything, he could do. He was a computer expert and a hacker.

After a few more hours they reached the Atamon city.
Kiara rubbed her eyes and asked, "Do you know the address of your friend ?"
Ezekiel looked around, he was not sure too, because he never came here before, whatever he knew about this city was from James.
"It should be somewhere here.. " He said.
They entered an alley. But then they heard a commotion from the house at a corner.
The place was quite run down, and desolated.
When they went near, they saw a dozen of men in black fighting with a blonde man with glasses.
The man with glasses, though fought with all his might, was still weak in front of a dozen well built men. "You can't force me to join! When I said I won't. It means I won't! " James said with gritted teeth, glaring at the men in front of him with hatred.
When Ezekiel looked at the scene in front of him, he frowned .
"You stay here, I have to help him. " Ezekiel said to Kiara and ran there, without waiting for a second.
Kiara could guess that the man in glasses, is the one they were searching for.
On the other hand, Just as one of the men in black was about to punch James, a hand came from nowhere and twisted it, CRACK ! A sound of bone breaking was clearly heard. The man fell down and bellowed like a dying pig.
PAHH!!
And the next second, a heavy kick was landed on another one, at the back of his neck, he too fell down on the ground like a poofed balloon, senseless or dead, no idea.
When James saw someone help him, he was grateful to who ever it was, and fought back with more ease. Ezekiel had guns with him, so it was more help. After dealing with ten people, he searched for the two that were left.
But then ,he heard a crack and a gunshot behind him. Turning back, he saw Kiara twist one's neck and shot them other at the center of his forehead.
"I asked you to stay there! "he said in a slightly angry voice and came forward to inspect her wound , and as expected, her leg was bleeding again.
"Yes..ofcourse, I should have been standing there like a stone statue, so that you two could die here in peace. " she said sarcastically. "If I didn't come, you would have got hurt, or even better died already, okay?! "
At first, she indeed thought of just standing there and watching the show of two handsome men, fighting the villians, Afterall it was more entertaining than those fake TV shows, but then, she saw that the two despicable villians, were trying to attack them from back, so ofcourse she had to interrupt, trying to be the damsel saving the 'knights in shining armor' in distress.
"But you are already hurt! " he retorted.
Just as Kiara was about to say something, James said, "Thanks for helping me, but who are you? "
He was really grateful to this two strangers who helped him today.
He could see the girl, but who is the man there.
Ezekiel turned towards James. When James saw his face he was stunned silly for a moment, why did this stranger look so much like him, especially those eyes?
But what he heard next was enough to snatch the earth down his legs!
Ezekiel looked at him, calmly and said, " Bars bind, Fears confine!"
When James heard that ,his eyes widened with shock!
"Kiel !!! "
