[Evelyn's angle]
My breathing became a bit unstable, and I subconsciously grabbed his sleeve with one hand. While I was in confusion, I seemed to see his blue eyes gradually deepen.
"Evelyn." He pulled his hand out and called my name. His voice was slightly hoarse.
"Hm?" My head felt hot after being teased by him. My eyes looked around, afraid to meet his.
Ring, ring, ring. The doorbell rang, which startled me. I quickly wiped my mouth with a napkin and walked out from the wide seat.
"Welcome. What would you like to buy?"
Although the heat on my face hadn't dissipated, I still had to brace myself to serve the customers.
"Aunt Asiri, you're back!" I looked at the woman in front of me in surprise.
Aunt Asiri was our neighbor. She went to another city last week to send her daughter to college. I didn't know she'd be back so soon.
