[Ashley's angle]
After His Majesty ordered me to leave, the chamberlain led me to my room in the castle.
"Looks like I'm going to be here for a few more days." I sighed in my heart.
There was a knock on the door and a chamberlain brought me dinner. It was then that I noticed it was already past six o'clock.
When I lived in the castle, I would try my best to sleep early. Although some vampires had tried their best to adapt to human society and change their habits, most of the vampires in the castle still lived in the same lifestyle in which they rested in the day and went out at night.
The witch's blood wasn't appealing to them, but I still had a human body after all. I should avoid them if I could.
I took out Lady Isla's diary again. Vampires had good memories, so His Majesty returned the notebook to me after reading it.
Looking at the words in the notebook, I still couldn't figure out what Lady Isla's final prophecy meant.
