Synopsis
Thanks for viewing my novel feel free to read it... or not. ____________________________________________ What happens when the main character knows that there inside the novel? What do you do when you find there are third-rate villains around every corner knowing that this is just a novel? Oscar Blake is a typical 17-year-old, and he soon awakens but instead of normally awakening he instead gets a new 'intruder' in his mind who knows that this world is a novel and helps him become stronger, while preparing for the incoming doom that he himself doesn't know about. ____________________________________________

Chapter 1 - Prologue I

My name is ■■■■ ■■■■■■■, I'm a 17-year-old, and I'm a novel reader.

I am addicted to novels. It helps me escape from the pain of reality. I would rather live in a novel as a nobody than in this world. Although I'm not bullied or anything. No, I just don't fit in, I don't belong here, and novels help me escape this coop that is my room and let me experience the world even if it's fake. That's why I read, that's why I distract myself—

As I read this paragraph, I cringe and delete the whole thing and go back to look for something to distract me. Scrolling through Reddit, I find a pretty nice overview of an unwritten novel. I upvoted the thread and commented, encouraging the original poster to try and make the novel because it is an intriguing idea that hasn't been executed right. I continue scrolling while not thinking about it much.

After three hours of doing the same, I receive a message.

"I genuinely want to want to write this. It's just I don't know where to begin." He probably thinks he isn't good enough to write.

"It's simple, (I lied it isn't) start with a character and build him up, you can use yourself as an example or even the opposite of yourself, you can also use other people as examples, and when you're done with that, you should start building up the world," I say what I would do in that situation.

"I'm worried that people won't like what I write and will criticize my 'unique' perspective" I don't get why he quoted unique. His problem is simple he thinks people are jerks.

"Many readers have their opinions on novels. Readers won't go criticize you just because they don't agree with your view. Readers read what they like, and if they don't like a novel they just won't read it." I try to explain my thoughts, but I'm unable to fully explain my view.

"I think I get your point. Would you like to join me in my writing experiences?" Thinking about it, I would agree, but I need to focus on school unless it was summer, then I would decide. So I say precisely that.

"I would like to, but I am unable to. I need to focus on school, although if it was summer, I would join you." Deep inside me, I know I'll try to avoid this, but I'll gain a friend at least.

"I mean summer is two months we can do it then," I smile and start typing.

"Okay fine, let's do it together—" I'll probably regret this, but I think it will be fun.

We then exchange contacts, and I go on with my day. After finishing my homework, I go and watch something, but I still am unable to get writing a novel out of my head.

While watching TV an earthquake hits. I cannot stay up on my feet and fall, things start falling, and I try to crawl towards the exit to escape, but suddenly the building collapses, and I was buried under the rubble.

'It hurts!!!' I think to myself, but knowing that I will die, I begin to embrace it

'This is fine,' i try to console myself but still, begin crying. I start thinking about my life's choices and start regretting them, and I unexpectedly remember the novel I promised to write.

'I'm sorry for being unable to help you,' While apologizing, I close my eyes and die.

...

A kid seems to be some kind of operator in a room full of screens and data but instead of doing his job he's reading a book. Suddenly he looks up and his eyes tear up.

"You said that you'd help me write, yet you ended up dying," A kid sadly says.

"Even if you didn't couldn't make my dream come true, in the end, you still helped me, I will give you a second chance, I hope you can survive. I'll probably get into a lot of trouble but I'll deal with it" The kid smiles as he snaps his fingers.

——————————————————————————

There are plenty of mistakes I hope you mind that.

This chapter is a bit short. You might have noticed but my usual chapters are about 1200-1600 words whilst this chapter is only 700ish words. Let's just say this chapter is Synopsis.

Have a nice day
