Chapter 1 - Death

"What the fuck! I died again!. But sliding on the streets in the rain was amazing just this truck-Kun came in my way. Another bucket list completed. Ah! What should I do now? I will be bored again.!"

A handsome man with a look of youth said. Suddenly, he thought of something that horrified him.

"Noooooooooo... I will become a baby again. I hate this, couldn't I just die. Of course not! I have the curse of immortality. I should not have used that technique. Now I look like an idiot. I die and I am thrown here and there. I hate these mortal worlds no spirit energy only shit."

"How is it fair? You have to live 4 years like a toddler only to get 80 years of life at max. That 4 year is hell. I have to latch onto the breasts of women billions of years smaller than me. I look like a paedophile! How humiliating."

"Destiny you bitch! All these years you sent me to billions of mortal worlds devoid of spirit energy. If you don't transport me to a cultivation world now, this Venerable one will kick your ass."

'I say that every time but once a bitch, always a bitch .'my destiny is ruined. To think that I, the legendary cultivator Mallory Hammond would have this kind of ending. Fuck! even my name is wretched.

He could not see anything, it was void everywhere, He seemed to be floating in the middle of nowhere. He had submitted to fate again. One who changed the fate of entire humanity once was now submitting to fate. Time brings one fame and it's the same time that brings one downfall.

He could just wish that he would be an orphan in the next life. He could now sense something after five hours of senselessness.

The gentle breeze, warm sun and above all he could sense his body. It was a relaxing feeling to sense one's body again. But his happiness was only limited to a few seconds. He could begin feeling his hip and his hip felt wet.

'No, not again, I cannot let anyone see me in this condition. It's the matter of my face.' He tried to move but soon realised that he couldn't walk. He was seated near an open window.

Fortunately, he managed to open his eyes. He could only see a lady sleeping on the bed. She seemed to be his mother. The room was medium-sized. There was no one else in the room. His worry began to escalate. Should I cry? No, it's not befitting to an immortal to cry in front of mortals. But he needed to clean up and he could not clean himself. His condition was miserable. He finally decided to let out a cry. After crying for a few seconds, the lady woke up and turned towards the source of the sound, When she saw who was crying, she got up and started walking towards him.

"Aww, my baby, stop crying, momma is here," she said and scooped the baby and brought him closer to her chest. She felt the baby's back and realized that it was wet.

Mallory was very uncomfortable. Being touched at private parts was not anyone would like. But he could not help it. She did not know that it was an immortal in the body of an infant. She opened his clothes, washed him, dried him and then wore him a new set of clothes. The humiliation was finally over. He heaved a sigh of relief. She then put him back on the cradle type object and went out of the room.

The baby was just lying on the blanket when suddenly a realisation struck him.

He sensed spiritual energy. Though it was faint, it was there. After millions of years, he could feel the spiritual energy. It felt like a boon to him. He tried to absorb the Spiritual energy but he failed to do so.

He smiled wryly.' I am even not able to move my legs properly how can I think of absorbing spiritual energy. It's not like I am at the peak of my cultivation again!'

It was his choice to cultivate a secret technique of soul after his soul became immortal. According to this technique, he would travel to a new universe whenever he died. He didn't even know how many lives he had lived, probably millions! At that time, he was the only one that cultivated the technique because he was the only one to cultivate to the immortal realm. He was the greatest of all cultivators. Countless people desired immortality but none were able to achieve it. He was the first one to achieve it. And perhaps the only one.

He remembered that when he achieved the breakthrough to the immortal stage, he absorbed so much the concentration of spiritual energy in the world decreased slightly. That may hamper the cultivation for the generations to come. Or it may be replenished by the world again.

He was just pondering about his first life of 2 million years when some people entered the room breaking his train of thoughts.
