Chapter 14
It was past seven but Myra Roger was still laying on her bed. The alarm rang for the third time but she didn't want to get up. She turned and stretched on the bed instead.
The alarm dings again, this time, louder, it was just as if God had intervened and she had to wake up no matter what.
She squiggled tirelessly on her bed, moving her hand to the dresser to put it off.
"Urghhhh" Her hand smashed the alarm disturbing her beautiful sleep, she didn't mind where it had landed, she was happy that it went off as it was driving her crazy already.
She slid out of the covers, muffling cursing words as she went about her day. She hadn't gotten any sleep and the alarm was on already. How long has she even slept for the alarm to disrupt her sleep like that?
She remembered clearly she had slept immediately after she came back from her mom's shop. But why was she still feeling dizzy after spending the rest of yesterday sleeping?
