"Me neither," Myra added sadly. "I don't care whoever that person is, but the fact that they had to sacrifice me and smear my name just to satisfy their selfish ambitions is cruel." She said, her voice strangled.
"Miss Rogers, the culprit would soon be revealed, you only need to exercise a little more patience," Steven muttered, reaching out to pat her hands in assurance.
He felt Kevin's burning gaze on him and withdrew immediately.
"Who among these men do you think is the most probable culprit?"
"Ah." Steven leaned back on the chair. "That's not something I can give a definite answer to. Each person I included was because of strong evidence against them."
"Really?"
"Yes. My team and I are still working on it, we'll get back to you as soon as we can."
Kevin poured out another glass of wine. "Anyways, this is good news. Thanks, Steven."
