The next hours were spent in the library. Myra helped Kevin as much as she could.
For once, they agreed together and almost did the same thing with the files. It was the first time and it felt special to Myra.
"You are so good with numbers," Kevin complimented.
Myra smiled. " I used to be one of the best."
Kevin nodded and took a seat beside her. "I actually saw some potential the day I stepped into the office. If you weren't that potential, I wouldn't have let you stay," he explained.
Myra pulled the file closer and started working on it. " You would have fired me?"
Kevin regarded her for a moment. " Yes, especially with how you treated me that night."
Myra hit her forehead slightly, a little pained. "I passed my boundary that night. How could I insult the almighty Kevin Smith?"
Kevin grinned. " You were so rude, Myra. Dangerously rude!" He muttered thickly.
