Myra felt the tears gather in her eyes at her boss's words. What would she have done if her boss didn't believe her?
Kevin smiled softly and stared back at the street.
Myra gazed down at the phone. "You can come over to my place. We can talk over there."
"Alright, dear. I will take a turn towards that place now," Amal informed and the line went off.
Myra stared outside through the window. She felt a heavy weight on her head. And she had a lot on her mind. She couldn't stop thinking of what would actually become of her if she didn't clear herself in time. That aside, she still has to worry about how she would fare. Would she have to stop working?
Kevin soon pulled up in front of her house. "I will pick you up in hours. So, you will have a lot of time to spend with your friends, " he explained.
Myra nodded. " But may I ask you a question?"
"Shoot."
