Jonas took Kevin's outstretched hand. "Nice to meet you."
Kevin nodded and returned his hands to his pocket, still wondering if he heard the word Jonas used to describe him correctly- nasty?
Myra was looking uncomfortable and apologetic, so he decided to let it go.
"Okay, then. I'll see you tomorrow." Kevin muttered and returned to the taxi, eyes on Jonas as the car zoomed off.
"What was he doing here?" Jonas asked.
"He needed to know where I lived."
"Was it necessary?" He snapped when they got into her apartment. "Most CEOs never care about their employees to such an extent."
Myra stopped to face him. "What are you implying?"
"Be careful, you never know what men like him are thinking at every given second."
She sighed.
Jonas was right. She shouldn't let her guard down around Kevin, no matter the reason behind his actions.
"Did you get what I said?" He asked again.
