Kevin held gazes with Myra, increasing his grip on the glass of wine in her hands, and to his chagrin, she didn't flinch under his hot gaze.
And he discovered that she had suddenly gotten bold. Myra would always grow wings whenever she got drunk. Perhaps she was taking it or there was something in the wines, Kevin couldn't answer.
He leaned closer to whisper, "Myra, let go of the glass right now," he ordered in a thick voice, attempting to scare her.
Myra merely shook her head indignantly. "No, I wanna have this wine, the brand tastes so good," she pouted.
Kevin gritted his teeth, casting a glance at Leo who picked up his phone when it pinged. Joan had excused herself to use the restroom earlier. Thank goodness or he might be caught in a weird situation.
As he glanced back at Myra, he was stunned, why was she being so stubborn tonight? Well, she was always stubborn.
