Myra got into her apartment, exhausted. She flipped her shoes off and sat on the couch, her mind still fixated on the mystery surrounding the previous CEOs at the company.
On her way home in the lift, her curiosity had been heightened when she heard another staff discussing it.
"I'm telling you, Kevin Smith and his pretty little secretary will soon leave our company, like all the previous CEOs before him. Sooner or later, he would be accused of embezzlement and fired."
That statement kept ringing in Myra's head.
The staff must be really confident that they discussed it numerous times.
Myra knew that there would be trouble if she lost her job, this was the first-ever high-paying job she got and that was the reason why she was able to pay all her expenses and even send some money to Mum.
