"Thank you so much, doctor. I really appreciate it." Myra spoke up when they both got down to the sitting room.
"You're welcome, Myra." Anis patted her shoulders.
"It was my pleasure treating Mr. Smith." She waggled her brows. "I can see that something is going on between you both."
Myra smiled shyly. Anis had been friends with her mother ever since her father's death and since then they'd grown closer.
Myra was just like a daughter to her.
"Doctor, Mum doesn't know I'm dating Kevin yet, can you please keep it a secret?"
Anis grinned. "Of course. As long as you're happy, then I'm okay, dear."
Myra blushed hard. She didn't expect Doctor Anis to be so understanding.
"Huh? Would you like some tea?" She scratched her hair.
"No, thank you, dear. But I have to leave now." Anis made her way to the door and stepped out, Myra right behind her.
