Continuing straight towards the north side of the lake, Chu Mu noticed that the map in his hand only roughly depicted the edge of the basin jungle.
To the north of the basin jungle was a towering mountain peak that rose dramatically from the ground. Chu Mu spent one night at the foot of the mountain and heard a heartbeat-like sound that was incredibly unsettling.
The mountain peak was thousands of meters high, and the calls from such a high altitude still made people feel a chill in their bones. It was clear that some very powerful soul pets must be inhabiting the mountain peak.
Chu Mu had self-knowledge and knew the top of the mountain was extremely dangerous, inhabited by powerful creatures. Chu Mu had no choice but to walk around the edge of the mountain peak and entered a narrow valley.
