"Chu Mu, your Big Uncle is calling you." Chu Lang, sitting next to Chu Mu, nudged him on the elbow.
Chu Mu was deep in thought, snapped out of it by Chu Lang's nudge, only to realize all eyes at the table were on him in a strange way.
"What's going on?" Chu Mu stared, calmly taking in everyone's faces, not knowing why they were all staring at him like this.
The others were speechless. Who would space out during a serious discussion, wake up and on top of it all, blame others for their own lapse. If anything, they should be calling him out!
Chu Ying, sitting next to him, rolled her eyes in annoyance. In a crisp voice she said, "Big Uncle called you several times, you were aloof as if you'd lost your soul, didn't even respond. What were you thinking about!"
"Oh, oh." Only then did Chu Mu focus his attention on Chu Tianheng. He asked, "Uncle, what's up?"
"Nothing, I just wanted to know if you had any opinions." replied Chu Tianheng.
