The Giant Mountain was also devoid of vegetation, composed entirely of rugged and hard Rocks. Sometimes the terrain was steep and perilous, sometimes it was flat and expansive, sometimes it dropped abruptly, and sometimes it rose sharply from the ground. Such bizarre topography had caused numerous obstacles for everyone's advance.
The terrain's impact on everyone could be overcome, but what caused them the most headache was that the creatures inhabiting the Giant Mountain always moved in groups. Often, just as they climbed over a ridge, they could encounter a tribe of indigenous creatures staring at them with pairs of angry eyes, followed by a roaring charge!
In the Array Valley, the group mostly avoided areas with roaming creatures, so battles were not frequent.
However, once they entered the Phoenix Clan Ruins Giant Mountain, the fighting almost never stopped. Describing their path as a bloody trail carved through sheer force was no exaggeration.
