"Those two motherf*ckers!" Lin Yi cursed.
"If we go looking for them, we'll blow our cover too. Let's get to the fourth floor and forget about them."
"Let's hurry then, before anything else goes wrong."
The two of them, acting as naturally as possible, headed to the elevator and got in.
"Is it really that serious? Do you have to keep that stern face?" Gu Yiran asked.
"Ling Han is an experienced detective, with a lot of successful cases under her belt. She should be fine. Don't stress out."
"Experience varies, and so does expertise. That woman might be great at catching criminals, but she doesn't understand how things work here. If they really went to the stairwell, there's a good chance they'll get caught."
