"Just a bullet. It's nothing to worry about."
Lin Yi said calmly.
"And if I didn't have some skills, that old man Wei Yihua wouldn't be so afraid of me."
Both Bai Yongshou and Wang Shuguang were pale, their legs weakening beneath them.
"Why are you doing this?!" Bai Yongshou finally voiced his confusion.
"If you really wanted to catch us, you could have done it at the nightclub that day. Why wait until now?"
"Actually, I did want to take action that day," Lin Yi replied, "but my superior said that the arrest operation was a joint effort between two precincts. If I acted on my own, it wouldn't look good. So, I let you live for a few more days."
The realization dawned on both men. Now, they understood that Lin Yi wasn't afraid of them at all.
He simply had other plans in motion!
