However, now Giovanna began to worry about herself. She too, was getting older. In fact, now she appeared much older than Lu Yu, and she was beginning to feel she was not worthy of Lu Yu anymore.
The difference would be especially stark when she had grown frail and wrinkled while Lu Yu became more youthful looking. Giovanna began to feel worried.
Lu Yu seemed to have read her mind. He smiled and said to her, "My dear, you are worried that you're just an ordinary person and will grow frail and wrinkled as you age?"
