Triggered by her provocation, I jumped at her again without preamble. Doging my first punch with ease, she countered with a slap of her hand straight to the chest. Taking the hit, to her surprise, I kicked out my leg straight into her shin, instantaneously pushing mana into it, because my blades could not pierce her tough scales.
Sacrificing 500 MP, after the hit, a couple of the scales broke and fell off, revealing her pristine skin. 'Alright, looks like I have about 200 more moves left until my Mana runs out. I have to make each attack count from now on. Fast!' recovering from her shock of being damaged, she kneed me in the stomach and did a one two much into my abdomen, knocking me backward a couple of feet.
Still on my feet, I rushed her, arms raised in a punching stance. Sending four consecutive punches to both her shoulders and both her knees, I managed to get rid of some more protection. Not taking these attacks too kindly, she let out a frustrated roar, soaring into the air, wings flapping and creating massive gusts of wind.
When she reached the ceiling, the air around her rippled until five crimson red lights appeared in the shape of spears, automatically aiming at me. With a flick of her wrist in my direction, a consecutive production of red spears shoot out of those red portals, tracking me.
I knew that I would run into a situation that required me to be airborne at one point, so I came up with an idea to temporarily make me airborn using just the Mana Wave skill. Using the skill from my feet, I dogged all of the spears coming after, twisting around them and punching at them.
Although a very hard struggle, it was able to be done when you are able to sense where they are coming from next. Using only ten MP for each burst, I was able to keep myself afloat almost indefinitely, because my mana regeneration regenerates 100 Mana every second. I found this out after I attacked those hounds.
Anyways, using this method to avoid all of the hundreds of spears coming at me, I eventually made it close to the Dragon. Surprised that I made it this far, she rushed at me, claws extended. All I had to do now was land another couple punches to her gut, I feel like that could cripple her enough to defeat her.
I don't really want to kill her, because she could be useful to me. Back to the fight, I blocked her first lunge with a deflection from my right hand, and uppercutted her right in the chin. Dazed, she shook her head, trying to get her bearings, only to see my fist connect with her abdomen. Hunching over, she grabbed her stomach in pain.
With a hammer slam with both hands and a 700 Mana output, I managed to cripple her wings and she fell to the ground, fast. Still able to stay consciousness, the proud dragon managed to regain her footing and wobbled as she tried to regain her regal posture.
However, with many of her scales shattered, and bruises forming on the open areas, she did not look as royal as she did before. "To have pushed me this hard, I must commend you. With the aura that you admitted earlier, I can tell that you are not a Beastkin. If you are not one of those, what exactly are you?" She coughed, spitting up purplish red blood.
"I'm simply a monster, just like yourself." I said simply, holding up my hand, and letting it dissolve into spores, which floated into the air. Eyes wide in surprise, she opened her mouth in shock as they automatically reformed into Gallen's hand. Happy with her reaction, I asked;
"Are you ready to admit defeat, or do you have any other tricks?" I asked inquisitive, wondering if she was really worth keeping, if she would rather kill herself than serve me. I wonder if she is just bored and does not have anything to amuse her with. But anyways, that is all about to become apparent later.
"You think that I would surrender? Don't make me laugh! Dragons never surrender, no matter how hopeless. And if I have any other tricks, I do!" SHe shouted as she started to gain size and transform into a giant dragon, looking exactly like the picture books. Head looked very much like a T-rex head, body lookin like a mix between a snake and a lizard, she looked like a nightmare.
"Fuck, this might be a bit harder than I though." I said again. Still, if I can assert my dominance even more, I might be able to make her mine eventually. Hopefully I will live long enough to do so. Still growing, she took up about half of the whole damn room!
"It's time to die, whatever you are!" She said in a gravel voice, almost sounding intelligible. Reading myself for the fight of my life, I filled both my hands with 1,000 MP, ready to throw down against a fucking dragon. This will be a great story to tell people in the future.
Lifting up a massive foot, hand, whatever it is called, the massive dragon tried to squash me into a pancake with it. Punching with both hands, I managed to push it back, and blow off three of the five claws on it, which I was not expecting. Roaring in pain, she reared her head back as her throat began to glow.
This is the universal signal that you are about to get fucking roasted alive by fire. Sprinting under her, I sent a flying kick to where I assumed her lungs would be. Hoping that this would work, I heard a massive HIC and realized that it was her lungs that produced the oxygen to start the fire.
Coughing on her own flame, the already bruised and battered dragon now had a burnt throat. Having an idea, I climbed up her massive leg and onto her back, walking unsteadily to her head, as she was actively trying to throw me off. Reaching my head, I jumped into the air and was about to do a big Mana Wave off the ceiling and pound the big lizard's head when A tail appeared out of nowhere and slapped me across the entire room.
Landing on my feet, I snapped both of my legs in half, falling to the ground. Laughing, the dragon trotted over to where I was, bending down to eat me up, as she could not talk anymore. What she did not account for is that this is just a copy, not the real thing. I can manipulate this body however I want, including fixing broken bones.
