As soon as Leo selected the writing system, he felt a change occur in him.
He felt a burning pain in his mind, he felt as if the system was drilling a hole into his head.
As soon as Leo screamed out from the pain, he felt it all go away.
There was now a refreshing feeling coursing through his mind and body.
"Wow, this is the best feeling I've had in my entire life"
(Yes, well, you've been granted a massive boost in your intelligence and your ability to store information has been upgraded.)
"How?"
(Well, that's what the writing system does, you can't be a great writer without a certain amount of experience and intelligence. The writing system aims to make you the best, and it also grants you abilities that make for great writing.)
"This feels more like just a cheat system if anything. I can remember all the books I've ever read perfectly."
(Yes, well, I'm not the best system for no reason. Hmph)
"Right, haha, thanks."
Leo felt amazing, everything felt so clear to him.
He felt like he had the universe inside his head.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The first thing Leo did with his newfound knowledge is go to his room and start writing.
He went through the numerous stories inside his head and chose what he found most suitable.
He decided to write children's novels for now, as that would seem the most believable to others, given the fact that he was 8 years old.
He was in the middle of writing a few, starting with; The Tortoise and The Hare, Jack and The Bean Stalk, and Cinderella.
Although these stories weren't his favorite, they are still timeless classics that everyone could love.
Leo and the people of this world had a fondness for these stories and he was sure this world would share in that fondness.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, the only thing Leo needed to do is get his stories published.
Leo wasn't sure how to go about actually doing it, but he knew that Helen had to be aware of it. Leo decided to consult with her about it.
"Helen, I wrote some stories for the kids. Can you read them to us?"
"Wow~. Well, I'm surprised you wrote such a big story, Leo. There are a lot of pages here, why don't you do a little reading for us? It's your story after all."
"Well, I wanted everyone to listen to it at the same time."
"Okay, sweetie, leave your story here and go get the kids. We'll read together, so we can all enjoy."
"Thank you."
Leo then went to get the kids while Helen stayed behind to skim the story. She wanted to read ahead, so she could get a better understanding of it.
Helen thinks (I might have to adjust the story if it's a little rough... I'll read ahead to make it more enjoyable for the kids...)
But, as Helen was reading, she noticed how there were no mistakes in the story, and that the flow of it made her want to keep on reading.
(Wow, this is really creative. *Sigh* I'm so proud of Leo.. and it looks like there is a total of 3 stories.)
Helen couldn't wait to read Leo's stories to the rest of the kids.
------------------------------------------------------
"Wow, Jack is so cool"
"Yeah, but what happened to Cinderella afterward? Did she become a princess? And what about her family?"
Helen replied to the rambunctious children.
"Okay, okay, I know you kids liked these stories, but it was Leo who came up with them. Honey, why don't you tell them what happens next?"
Leo replied. "No, well... I haven't written about anything that happens next. That was sort of the end... It's just meant to be a happy ending."
"Awwwww, cmon Leo, just tell me"
"Yeah, just say it, don't be stingy"
"Wait, but how did little Leo wrote those stories?"
"Yeah, how?"
"You wrote them with a pencil?"
"...Yeah, with a pencil, how else am I supposed to write them?"
Helen had to calm them down
"Okay, okay, leave Leo alone. Just say thank you for letting me read it, you guys. Don't bother him anymore."
*Grumble Grumble*
"okay"
"""""...thank you Leo~""""
"Okay, now, all of you, head back to your rooms, and get ready for dinner."
