Finally! Finally the graduation party came & we are free from the cage of highschool,its not like that I hate to study,its just my dream is to become world's famous singer. But they say dont fly so high, if you will fall only you will get hurt. Oh I forgot to tell you about myself, I am Rihana, an orphan girl raised in an orphange. My parents died in an accident left me in this world all alone. I met my bestfriend, Jennifer in that orphange, she was sent by her parents there & then we both become soul sisters. When we went to highschool students teased us alot but here come our saviour Charles Roy, sounds filmy, I know,son of the great business man but he never cared for him, thats why he is a bit rude & away from his family, but for me he is sweet & caring. Yes! you people guessed it right I have feelings for charles but from last 2 years couldnt express it coz I dont want our friendship to get ruined & Max our shy bestfriend is always protective towards all of us,Max consider us his family coz his father left him for another women. We the great four are each others strenght,I never knew that I could be this lucky after losing my parents, but I think life become humble to me. These thoughts were coming in my mind while getting ready for the graduation party.

"I was thinking that how..." Jennifer cut me in between. "That how your life changed & you got worlds most beautiful sister & besides two protective besties blah blah"
She said all in an irratated way flaping her hair behind.
"With whom is max coming?" I asked in a concerned way coz we both didnt talk after that day, but instead of answering me she asked the question making me frown.
"Arent you coming with Charles? When did the plans changed" she said in a dramatic way.
"Will you stop,I was just asking." I said making a pout,but how can she stop when it comes to irratate me.
"Oh so you are coming with both of them, I got that" she said and I smaked her on head.
"Stop joking around you fool, i...."she again cut me in between. "Yeah I know you didnt confessed till now because of the "friendship" tag between you & charles" she quoted friendship with her fingers making me irratated like hell.
"Shall we go or you are planning to spoil my graduation here" I asked changing the topic coz I know I cant win in this argument.
"Ofc when did I stop" she said & we left for the party.
"Hello beautiful" Charles said I smiled seeing his smile. He smile very less.
"Hey handsome!" I replied with the same tone,but how can we forget that there is one person who will definately interrupt.
"Oh romeo juliet second version, stop right there we are here to enjoy not to see your romance" jennefer again spoiled it. As I can say something to her, I saw max standing behind us looking at me & I looked down.
"Hey,where were you? Your phone was unreacheable since 2 days" charles asked worriedly.
"Nothing just went out to clear my mind" he said looking at me.
"Ok guyz lets enjoy today is our freedom day!" Jennifer said & we all went towards the dancing floor.
"I would like to say something." Charles said holding a mic & I was staring at jenni that she knows, but she just pass a silly smirk. Oh something is brewing between them.
"Today, i want to confess something, I am too bad at expressing things rihana but I wanted to say that thanks for being there always, your are a star which only lucky ones would have & we are blessed with best! And I want this star for the rest of my life not as a bestfriend.." Everyone gasped including I wasnt expecting this not so soon.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked holding my hands while i was staring at the most shocking figure with tears in his eyes,Max!
"Common just say yes,you were waiting for this since long" jenni said and I came out from the trance.
"All yours" I replied smilingly but inside me knows that I hurted my best friend too much today.
"What happened where are you lost?" Jenni asked suspiciously.
"Nothing its just I didnt expect this so.." she cut me off & said "Dont lie to me, I know you are hiding sonething from past few days, what is it?" She knows me so well. Perks of being best friend,I saw max was going somewhere hurriedly I need to talk to him.
"Nothing you are just exatterating" i said & left from there.
"Max listen to me, please"I begged.
"Why I listen to you? Why you lied to me rihana? You said you dont want to be in a relationship right now,thats why you rejected me! You can tell me the truth also that you love charles,I wouldnt have started building hopes dammit" He poured all his anger on me.
"I didnt want anyone to know about my feelings coz I thought it was one sided, I really dont know that charles is planning all this"I said truthfully
"How can I trust you huh, jenni knows every single thing & she persuaded charles to propoes you infront of everyone so if he wasnt sure about your feelings why would he took a step like this,you really broke me this time, as a friend also." He left in anger & I went behind him coz he was drunk & I dont want him to get hurt. He directly went to his house & i went behind him & after that everything went black.....
TWO YEARS LATER...
Charles POV
"IS IT EASY TO LIVE WITHOUT THE ONES,
YOU CONSIDERED YOUR FAMILY?"
Its been two years since I lost you both. I thought the graduation party will be a new start for all of us but it become a disaster end. Max & you both got dissapeared in a nick of time. We went to max house only to find blood all over & alcohol bottels lying there & couldnt think straight. The police said that it looks like that someone is being murdered here. Where are you both? Where are you rihana? I have searched you everywhere but couldnt found any traces of both of you. I know that you guyz are alive but where nobody knows? Dad wanted me to take over his business for which I denied but after days I decided to take over,coz it will help me finding you people.
"Any updates?" I asked my private investegater with a hope.
"No sir we are still searching" he said in a tone of dissapointment.
"To hell with your search you cant find two people in goddamn 6 months..you are fired" I shouted.
"Whats the need to shout,they are doing their duty Charles" jenni came & said.
"What can I do,we couldnt found the reason behind the disappearance of both and on the top of that they are nowhere to be found,I cant handle this anymore" I said being frustated & emotional at the same time.
"You know what I think there is a connection between both the things,because they both are dissapeared on the same day" jenni said making a sense.
"You know what we have to start from graduation day." Jenni said.
"Means" I asked
"We have to go to school,then we will able to find out what happened that day" jenni cleared the confusion.
"IT HURTS WHEN SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOUR HEART BETRAY YOU"
"Lets go fast" I said. We reached school & we saw that nothing was changed. The times we enjoyed,bunked our classes & pranks with others made me smile after 2 years. We were welcomed warmly & then we saw someone coming towards us.
"Jackson" jennifer exclaimed in surprise & I was still confused.
"Oh so you remember me drama queen" he said in a dramatic way
"Ofc I do, the studious one in our class how can I forget you." She said now my memory hits so he is jackson king.
"What are u doing here?" She asked on which he said
"I am a professor here,actually I wanted to continue my studies further but for that I needed finacial help & then the school administrative helped me." He explained.
"So you four are still together?" He asked hesitately,while me & jenni looked at each other for a proper answere.
"Ah yeah! Its just Max &...."jenni tried to explain but he cut her off & said "I knew it, he will not be with you people after whatever he did that day with rihana" he said in a matter of fact & we both looked at each other being shocked. He still dont know about rihana is not being with us.
"What did he do?" I couldnt form correct words except the ones came out from my mouth.
"After your proposal I went behind rihana to congratule her but what I saw & heard made me shocked. Max proposed rihana the day our exams were over & she said no because she loved you but lied to him that she dont want to be in a relationship. She didnt want her bestfriend to get hurt because of her feelings but Max was in so much anger that he could think anything & left from there,rihana thought that its her fault so she went behind him to make him understand & after that I didnt see max" he completed & we were shocked with this new found information would be an understatement. Max loves rihana,how could that even possible. Jennifer saw my state & thanked him for this information & we left from there.
"Is it possible that rihana's disappearance is related to max?" I asked her.
"I dont know but I hope that its not true" she said hiding her tears.
"If its true, I will kill that bastard with my hands" I said being angry.
"Stop it we still dont know the whole story,and if we want to know we have to find rihana at any cost" she said calming me down. As she said the phone rang & after seeing the caller id i put it on speaker.
"Sir we found rihana, she is in a Rehabilitation Center" he finished & I was first happy that I found her but after listening to him the ground beneath my feet open wide,I saw jennifer who was crying without any emotions on her face.
"Send me the address ASAP" I hardly managed to say that.
"Lets go there" I said to jennifer who nooded in yes.
"THE ONE WHO LIGHTED YOUR LIFE IS SURROUNDED BY DARKNESS & UNFORTUNATELY YOU CONNOT HELP IT"
"We want to know about Rihana" I asked from the receptionest. "Sorry sir,we couldnt share our patient personal info with anyone."
"But we are her friends" jennie insisted,but she ignored & started working on some files.
"Excuse me, you are?" A boy asked. From his appearance he looks like a doctor.
"I am Charles Roy & she is jennifer & we are here for..."he cut me off & said "Rihana, right?" We shook our head.
"Come with me" he said & we followed him,he took us towards a room & open the door, the scenario infront of me made my heart sink. My best friend, my rihana was in a vulnerable condition,she was not the chirpy bird like before but she was lost,depressed & feeling devastated.
"Rihana" Jenni hardly said her name & she looked upwards and was shocked that how come we found her.
"Jenni see I am dirty, he snatched my soul, I hate myself" rihana said cryingly.
"Who did this huh,tell me who" jenni said controlling her tears hardly.
"MAX" and we all are shocked.
"In these 2 years she didnt tell us the name of her culprit,we tried every possible way to connect to her family then we got to know that she is orphan & when her treatment started she just say these two names jenni & charles. She has high effect of her accident in her mind, we tried to control it & we succeded a bit but the after effects of MOLESTATION is still haunting her" the doctor explained.
"MOLESTATION?" I said with teary eyes.
"Yes the wounds said that she was molested" doctor said "u need to take care of her or else you people will lose her again" the doctor completed.
"I dont need to live, let me die jennie, I cant live now" I heard her nonsense.
"STOP IT! You know what we felt when u suddely dissapeared we both were shattered, the girl standing infront of you,I pointed towards jennifer, who controlled herself hardly, that if she will broke down how will I manage & I, there is no need to tell you about me coz you dont care,you just want to go away from us, Right" I let out my frustration on her. Oh god she is not well what did I done.
"Will you stop,she is not well cant you see" jennifer said & I left the room without even glancing at her.
"Are you mad or what she is still in trauma & you are shouting at her,cant you for once control your anger" she gives me a piece of mind.
"I know I did wrong but what is she doing,suicide attempt,is it right? If someday I found max I will definately kill him for whatever he did to my rihana" I said feeling so low.
"We will find him & punish him for his mistakes but now rihana needs us" she explained. We turned to go towards her but found her standing there.
"I am sorry guys, I couldnt think straight. The accident still haunts me I think it will never leave me alone,I feel so disgusting" rihana cried & I went towards her & said
"Who said it will remain with you always,we are there for & will never let any harm touch u again, just dont think of this suicide again,I promise I will punish your culprit." I said & kissed her forehead.
"Exactly, now put a beautiful smile on your face & stop thinking about your past,you know that your future is yet to come." She consoled rihana in her way.
"Using my lines on me,when did you get this muture?" She asked to jennifer making her frown & took her into a hug & I joined too.
"How did this happen? Means why the hell Max did that?" Jennifer asked on which rihana flinched abit.
"If you dont want to tell now its okay, dont worry" I said making her comfortable.
"No I want to say Charles,only you both are my life now how can I hide this from you people" she said.
"Calm down rihana we know that he proposed u & u rejected him,what happened after that?" Jennifer said consoling me.
FLASHBACK
That night i went behind him coz he was drunk & i dont want him to get hurt but when i went inside his house i was shocked to the core. The floor was scattered with the alcohol bottels & he was drinking like an alchoholic addict,i tried to stop him but instead he slapped me and accused me that i am behind your money. I tried to make him understand but the suituation got worst & he hitted me again & in that process his hand started bleeding,i tried to bandage his hand but he pushed on the floor & came upon me i tried alot to get up but couldnt so i hitted him with a bottle & tried to run away, then he clutched my neck & started harrasing me but i push him with full force & ran on the road,he was coming behind me & i was running slowly because of the wounds and suddenly i felt sharp grab on my wrist,he caught me again and then he was about to push my dress when i heard a loud thud & saw him going out of sight with all blood around ,i didnt know where he gone, & who was my saviour coz i became unconcious & when i opened my eyes i was in hospital bed.
FLASHBACK END
I was in tears that how could the person we trust the most betrayed us like that.
"We will make sure that he will suffer the same or more than that u have suffered because of him." Jennifer said being determined.
"Yes we will make his life hell" I said & called the commisioner & explained him everything.
Jennifer Pov
"LIFE WILL ALWAYS NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOUR HEART WANTS,BUT IF YOU TRY YOU CAN OVERCOME THE SADNESS"
Days passed & rihana started to live her normal life again,she wasnt like the old one,always spread happiness around but she started to smile again. Me & charles made sure that one of us will be with her everytime. In these days charles become more muture & started handling things calmly. They actually got to know everything come with a price & happiness has its own cost,sometimes differeces & sometimes your own life....
And me,I am lost,too much that couldnt be found! I never in my wildest dreams think that Max will be the enemy of our happiness. I still cant believe its real,if one day I will meet max I will definately ask him that how can he hurt the ones who he called him their own.
"Yes now what happened" I asked to which charles replied.
"We left the file of rihana at home,can you come with that file in the hospital"he said & I thought he become muture. Note the sarcasm.
"Well nothing unexpected charles,I will be in rehab center in 20 mins" I said making him frown & rihana chuckle.
"Thanks for the beautiful compliment jenni,but dont come to rehab centre the doctor is in HEALTH & CARE Hospital today" he explained.
"Why so?" I asked on which he replied "in morning he is in rehab centre & after that he moves to the hospital." He elaborated.
"THE DAY YOU LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR ANGER,FROM THAT DAY YOUR CONQUER BEGINS"!
"Ok..will be there soon" I cut the phone & left with reports for the hospital. I was waiting for them in garden of the hospital when my eyes caught something,I saw a man on wheelchair whose head was bandage completely & he was handicapped. He was trying to pick up something from his hands but failed miserably, I dont know what happened to me that time, I went to him & pick up his photoframe,the moment I saw the frame time stopped there only,it was us, we 4 in the photograph. When I saw the man I couldnt stop my tears,it was MAX!
"How"only these pitiful words come from my mouth,I heard someone calling me but I was too shocked to react and they both came to me & I saw an angry charles who was long gone and fearful rihana whom I saw the day we met after years!
"THE DAY YOU REALIZED THE WORTH OF REAL ONES,THEY WILL BE LONG GONE"
"I know apologizing is not enough but please forgive me rihana,that day I tried to suck it up but my anger took over me & I ruined the most beautiful thing of my life, my family...Destiny has punished me for my mistakes & I am still suffering,that day if I didnt۔۔۔۔۔" Max said cryingly.
"How can u expect me to forgive you after whatever u did to me Max,I considered you as my friend but what you did,you shattered my soul,I hate you,if that day you didnt met with this accident you definately will cross all the limits as human being!" Rihana poured all her hatred towards max.

"I know I did a mistake but please forgive me,I cant live with this guilt that I hurted my family alot,dont go away please I am already...." I cut him off
"No you are not suffering max,but you are giving retribute of your Sins & you didnt done any mistake but u did a sin which connect be forgiven! And your punishment is not even started,it will start today itself,the ones whom you are calling your family will never see your face again,the one who make you his family,you tried u snatched his,the one you loved will hate you till her last breath,and the who always was there with you,considered you her bestfriend,fell in love with you huh ,will feel digusted on herself for the rest of her life" I spitted out every harsh word that come in my mouth & saw others who were shocked with my sudden confession.

"jenni" rihana hugged me tightly & I cried in her arms. We left from there & started our New journey forgetting the bitter past. The other day I went to beach for some peace of mind & recalled every single moment of yesterday and my eyes got teary,when someone patted on my shoulder & it was none other than jackson. I hugged him & started crying & in whole mean time he was just asking me that what has happened & I narrated him the whole story.
"See in this whole accident nobody was at fault so why are you wasting your precious tears on a fraud" jackson explained.
"You dont need to feel low,now rihana is back,charles is happy so you should celebrate their happiness & about your broken heart so I think u desrve someone better,who makes u smile." He completed
"How you become a professor? U should be a lecturer" I smiled geninely after getting my real self back.
"And here your taunts are back,well u shouldnt comment on my profession,I am good at whatever I am,u should be the one working on your art exibition." He reminded me.
"Oh yeah I totally forgot about it, exibition is in 3 days & we have an engagement party too this weekend,oh god I am so messed up" I started to panic.
"Relax you can pull it off just believe in yourself,bye takecare!" He said & left & I feel contented. I have alot of work so lets start with shopping..

"Common lets go or else charles will die of waiting" jennie said in a usual way. We left for the hall & here Charles roy was standing in his glory looking handsome as always & our rihana got flat.
"Dude stop staring,he is all yours for now focus on engagement" jennie said making rihana frown.

"Now you both exchange the rings fast"jennie taunted as the both were staring each other.
