"Kill me?" he asked.
"Yes! I'll kill you! Before you do anything to me! I'll kill you! Leave me!" she thrashed against his hold and he encaged her waist between his knees, ceasing her actions, immediately. He glared at her and her heart suddenly stopped and then began beating violently when she felt tightening his hold on her wrist.
It was then she knew, her power was nothing compared to him. His hard glare was enough for suppressing the adrenaline coursing through her veins, replacing it with fear.
"What do you want from me?" she almost sobbed.
He didn't say anything just kept staring at her, intently and her breath struck in her throat.
"Please," a broken sob escaped her lips, she was tired, "leave... leave me," she said brokenly.
Witnessing her broken state, he was about to pull away from her when suddenly the door opened and his mother entered, finding him on the top of a girl and her eyes widened, immediately. A gasp escaping through his mother's lips when he pulled away from her and stood up, looking towards her. He knew what his mother might be thinking.
"Moosa, meet me outside," his mother said, shock was all over her face.
He nodded at her, his eyes at his mother who left the room then they switched to the girl who was rubbing her wrists, tears flowing down her eyes.
He stepped towards her but she straight away scooted back, her eyes on the floor.
"What do you want from me?" She asked, crying. "And... d...don't touch me again!"
He didn't say anything just kept on staring her. Not once did she look up at him, her eyes were glued to the floor. He walked towards where the telecom was and dialed some number.
"Ask Alizeh to come here," he commanded, before placong the reciever back.
Then he turned around and moved towards the girl, who scooted back more, bringing her knees to his chest. She was shivering with dread.
"Please... don't come near me!" her eyes welled up with tears as she saw him stepping closer. "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!" her voice getting bold.
"I know who you are," she continued, "if you dare to touch me, I'll... kill... kill you!" her lips pouted like a child as she said those words and the chuckle left his lips before he could stop it, yet he couldn't hide the shock when she suddenly screamed.
Spitfire
Indeed, she was a spitfire.
"And don't take me as any other women who would allow you to touch me! Don't touch me ever again!" She suddenly screamed. She thought, he was also a part of those terrorists and he had brought her to their point as they were mentioning it yesterday.
Her body has already been played with so much and now she won't let anyone touch her without her permission. Her blood just boiled with this thought that what he might had taken her as that made him touch her wrists.
But all in all, her thoughts had been molded that way, which made her think that everyone would take her as a prostitute. Just like him. Here he was clueless what she was thinking that made her scream all of a sudden. He just took it as some sudden trauma. Every girl would feel that way if chased by a bunch of men like she was a piece of flesh. It was what he deduced out of her reaction which was partially true.
"Who were they?" his voice, all of a sudden getting serious and grave as he switched on his interrogation mode.
Chills travel down her spine. His voice was so intense and grave.
"You don't know them?" she managed to ask. "Don't come near me!" she said again, dashing back more into the sofa when she saw him taking a step near her.
"No. I don't know them." he stated plainly.
She blinked with confusion. Wasn't he one of those terrorists too?
Maybe he is lying. She thought when another thought overrules the first one that why he would lie?
She was busy contemplating when the door opened again, and a girl came in. Her eyes moved up and saw her. She had curly hair and big eyes, with slender nose. She was beautiful and her features had that persian touch. But she could also read the fear on her face while she looked at the man who was standing infront her.
"Yes brother?" she asked. She seemed a bit out of breath.
He moved towards her, whispering something to her and looked back at Roshanay.
"We'll continue this, afterwards," he told her. His voice was serious. His eyes were serious. His face was serious. And that made her heart skip a beat.
She felt like, he was waiting for her to respond so she just nodded her head before looking away. Then, he left the room.
As soon as he was out of sight, she breathed in relief.
He was intimidating.
That was when she noticed the girl moved towards her and sat down beside her.
"Hi. I'm Alizeh," she said with a smile. She sounded cheerful.
Roshanay smiled back at her.
"Hello. I'm Roshanay," Her voice was dry with anxiety and anticipation.
"Please can you tell, where I am? And who was... he?" she asked, worriedly.
"Relax girl. Don't worry. Nothing will happen to you. He is my brother. And you're here at my home. You're safe, don't worry," Alizeh placed her hand on her shoulder.
Moosa called her, just now and she thought, he came to know about her recent blunder that made her heart cease with fear for a moment but relief flooded her when she came to know about the reason he actually called. He had asked her to calm the girl and make her relaxed as she looked so scared even to speak properly other than threats. So here she was, to comfort her and make her feel safe.
"How do...I know, I'm safe?" Roshanay asked.
"You know the famous business man, Moosa khan?" Alizeh asked and she nodded her head.
"I know," she whispered.
"You're at his home. Okay? Now do you feel safe. He won't do anything to you nor anyone would," she told her and her eyes widened with surprise.
She was thinking about him the other day and now she was at his home. She couldn't believe it.
Relief flooded her form when she thought, she was safe.
"You can hug me, Roshanay," Alizeh told and she embraced her in a hug. Seconds later, everthing came crumbling down to her and now she was sobbing in Alizeh's arms. She badly needed a warm hug.
"You're strong, Roshanay," Alizeh murmured, to relax her and she uttered a small 'thank you' to her.
When she thought, she had cried enough, she pulled back, looking at her with teary eyes.
"Thank you for the hug," she said.
"No need to say that. Do you feel good now?"
"Yes, thank you,"
"My brother, would talk to you again in a day or two. He wants to know what happened with you, and you were too scare to utter anything so he called me to comfort you. I hope you're fine now,"
She nodded her head.
"And one thing, Roshanay. Don't lie to my brother ever. Please, I request you,"
And again, she nodded her head.
"Okay," Roshanay replied.
"You can sleep if you want. Your food would be brought up to your room,"
"What would happen with me?" She asked.
"Thats for him to decide. He's the boss. But don't worry you're in safe hands," Alizeh passed her a small smile.
"Thank you,"
"Now I'll take my leave. If you need anything, there's an intercom beside you. Dial 59,"
And again a nod was her reply.
Alizeh after giving her a tight lipped smile left the room.
As soon as she got out of the room, she found his brother and mother invested in a deep conversation.
"Who was that girl?" her mother asked Moosa.
"A guest mom. How many time would I have to repeat this?"
"And you were lying on the top of a guest?" her mother again again investigated. Her one hand on her waist as she quirked her brow up and Moosa laughed.
"Oh my suspicious mother!" he said, laughing and pulled her in a bug.
"You're bribing me with your hug, son," she told.
"And I bet you're bribed mom." he told, a small smile etched on his face.
"No I'm not," her mother said sternly and pulled back.
"Tell me what you were doing on the top of that girl?" she asked again.
"Its not what you think mother,"
"Tell me, did that girl force you up on herself?"
"What?" His features contorted with somewhat unpleasentness.
"You don't know my handsome son, girls run after you. They would do anything to get your attention," she told her and he just closed his eyes, rubbing them with his forfinger and thumb.
"I say again, its not what you're thinking," he told, upon opening his brown eyes.
"Promise me, I'll always be your priority,"
He just smiled and gave a nod.
"You know the answer mother. God knows how much time did you have asked me this question,"
"A mother should always be a son's priority even if he is married or not married,"
"Gosh! You're starting with this again?"
"I dont want you to forget this,"
"But I also want you to understand that you being too possessive about your son is not good,"
She just nodded her head and he gave her a smile. His mother was cute but she needed to understand certain things which really irked him up, sometimes.
"And I want to ask you something mother," his voice getting serious in a beat and she looked at him.
"What happened?" She asked but she knew what her son was going to ask and she somehow tried to dismiss the situation.
"First freshen up son, have your breakfast and then we'd talk."
"I will but first enlighten me my beautiful mother, why Alizeh came home late last night? I remember giving him a deadline,"
Alizeh who stood there, heard it and all the color lost from her face. She couldn't even run, his brother was standing there, almost in the middle of hallway.
"No, she came back on time," her mother replied and a frown creased his brow.
"Why are you lying?" His voice wasnt friendly anymore. One thing about her son, she knew where to press his buttons and where not. He clearly hated being lying to especially by someone close to him.
"She came home late,"
"Hmn. And she even dodged the guards," he stated, when his eyes caught Alizeh and his brown shade darkened which made her breath stop.
"I heard something, Alizeh," he said, looking towards her and she gulped.
She knew she was caught.
"Come here," he ordered and she walked towards her looking at him worriedly.
"Bhai, I was about to confront it to you myself," she told. She knew his brother very well. If you come up to him and confess your blunders on your own, he would let it go but if you would try to hide, he would eventually know. And that's when, no one can save you from his wrath. His eyes were everywhere.
"I know," he sounded sarcastic, "do you want me to ground you for a month?" he demanded, his voice had that faint hint of anger.
"I can explain," she stated, in a whine.
"No need for that. I gave you the deadline, you failed at that and then you dare dodge your guards?" he asked. Her mouth opened and then shut again, then opened and then she shutted up her lips, no words conjuring up in her mind.
"I'm sorry," At last the words left her dry throat and she looked down.
"Sorry won't do anything. Go to your room now. You're grounded,"
"Till when?" she asked, her lips shaky at his scolding.
"I'll tell you when its over. Now go," he told.
"Atleast tell me so I could know when to expect my freedom," she murmured.
"That's the point, baby sister. Now you can go to your room and don't step out until I ask you to if you don't want to add on to your punishment," he told, sounding grave and dead serious.
Her lips pouted and then she left the hallway when his attention moved back to his mother.
"Till when you would cover up for her?" he asked.
"You're also being strict with her. Let her live," his mother told.
Now his eyes turned cold, "She and you do not have any idea about the danger lurking around. Coming to point, I want you to talk to her to abide by my rules because I don't want to make her understand in my own way," he stated and walked away.
Almost the whole day, Roshanay slept. And just slept. She felt too tired. She would just wake up in middle when a maid would bring her up some food.
At night, her eyes atlast opened and she felt a strong desire of water to quench her thirst. Finding no jug of water beside her, neither any glass, she decided to wander around the mansion and reach the kitchen to get water. She didn't feel like wandering in someone's house like that but she felt a bit too much thirst.
After changing her route umpteenth of times she atlast reached the kitchen, when she heard a voice.
"No baby," a girl said and she was utterly confused, her back towards her.
"Don't worry, we will meet again," she told and she felt like she heard her voice before.
"You know I love you," she said again to someone on the phone.
"No I'm leaving after a week to attend a wedding. We would meet after that,"
"Yeah I agree, last night was fun. Thank you for making it the mist memorable night ever,"
"Ok ok, I should go before someone sees me,"
"Okay baby, bye" She said and cut the call.
And as soon as she turned around, they both looked at each other and the girls squeaked with surprise. Her eyes widened.
