Now there are four of them and their hunger for flesh clearly showed on their face when Ira accidentally hurt himself and slightly grazed his skin. It bled and that made them wilder and more agile to the extent that no normal human beings could express such skill.
Immediately, I folded my umbrella and tightly wrapped the appendage on it, aiming to use it as a weapon, although I know it won't last long.
"They are circling around us! How can they move so fast in this slippery and muddy path?!"
Visibly, they were no normal beings, considering they eat human flesh and move quicker than our eyes could follow. Again, Ira's and my back were against each other to watch our blind spots.
While we were anxiously waiting for them to attack, gradually, Ira and I were subconscious, taking small steps to get out of the forest. The nearest place we could reach based on our location is the mall. There, we might be able to get some help from other students.
