Aira suddenly sprang up the idea, pulling her chair to face the rest of us, her group mates.
But everyone ignored them and gave her the cold shoulders, including me. She was definitely pissed off, considering how her brows just suddenly raised, and frowned.
"I--I think so too," Darren abruptly spoke, slightly raising his hand to motion Aira's remark.
"See! Guys, we definitely should or we would not get any information if we are always ignoring each other!"
Reluctantly, Aira did try to be friendly and not angry about how the rest of us did not say anything to her proposal. She held her own to the end to start a conversation just so she could gather information on us.
"I know why you're doing this, Aira. Why do you want to know who the
'infected' is? It's because you're now short on money, right?"
Robert said jubilantly as he rubbed his thumb on his index and middle finger.
