A terrible snowstorm had been affecting the town of Rhoda, which was located on the border of the kingdom of Abalon, for a number of weeks. The people of the town were having a hard time making it through the day, and the situation was getting worse with each passing day. The vanquishing of the greed demon had provided the kingdom with a glimmer of hope, but it appeared that Rhoda would continue to be blanketed in snow indefinitely.
Ether, Essie, and Duke Clarence, who had just recently vanquished the demon, made the decision to embark on a voyage to the town of Rhoda with the intention of assisting the citizens of Rhoda in any manner that they could. When they arrived in Rhoda, they discovered that the entire town was covered in snow, and the residents were huddling together for warmth.
