In the forest, two days had passed since the attack from the Darewalves. They had managed to get away and had avoided any conflict with the beasts in the forest for those days. This gave them time to rest and heal some of the wounds that they had.
Dumpie and Quinsi were still on high alert as they two had suffered some injuries in the battle and because they did not have a healer in their group, they had to rely on potions, which took too much time to completely close the wounds and heal them depending on the tier of healing potion that they had used.
Luckily, they had not suffered any deep wounds. It was the same for the kids. Only Paula ad Fiara had not suffered any injuries while the other three had. They had not talked that much during their retreat as the battle that they had just gone through was tougher than when the horde of beasts attacked their town seven months ago.
