Nolamine did not get far. A claw had ripped through his back that was surely going to cut him in half, but his new ability was all that was between him and certain death.
He turned to black smoke again and hit a tree when he reappeared, unable to control his trajectory while in that state. He quickly stood up and gathered himself, not wasting any time, he bolted while the beast looked at its magnificent claws like it thought that there was something wrong with them.
As it stood there in the scarlet moon's lights, the redness of the light made it look like something that belonged to the other side of the river that Nolamine thought was the devil's playground.
It was two meters tall and was just something out of a horror film. Its head looked like that of a goat, its horns big and pointing outwards to its sides then to the front of its head. They were black and looked like priceless material.
