As the group walked away, Shanzo looked at the devastation Alina and Andros's fight had caused. There was no forest anymore, just a place that looked like it had been ravaged by war, with it being bombarded and then having a storm ripping through the area. The destruction was everywhere and it reached the house that had been ripped apart by Alina's last spell.
"Should we take anything?"
Siyana asked. She had learned from Laureate to take anything of value after winning a fight. Shanzo turned and looked at her. He was visibly impressed and worried at the same time.
It seemed that in the short space of time she had joined them, she had also learned to darken her soul, something he thought they needed to do in order for them to survive.
'Her innocence is already dwindling away. Why does it have to be like this?'
He thought after thinking of how much different his childhood was.
