"Do you know what this class is about? It's about physical training! Do you understand?" the teacher bellowed. She slowly walked over to a student, whose hand was trembling. She snatched the candidates hand and lifted it up with a sneer.
"This is what we don't want to see!" she yelled, slamming the hand back down on the table. The candidate wailed, clutching her hand in pain. There was a dark expression in her eyes as she wiped the tears away.
"Pfft! Weak..." the teacher muttered before standing in front of the class. "Everyone pick a partner that you will train and practice against for the rest of the lesson" she instructed. Nobody moved. They shared nervous glances as they unenthusiastically shifted towards one another.
They communicated with absolute silence. They understood each other. They all started to get into pairs. Siege was the only one still sitting, staring at the teacher with a sinister expression.
"Hey you, do you want to pair up?" Siege heard a whisper next to him.
"Huh? Yeah sure" Siege muttered, looking up. A tall male candidate stood in front of him. He had golden hair and pale skin and green eyes.
Before they could start a conversation, Madam Athena spoke up:
"You will all be called up in pairs and you will duel. I will assess you and give you feedback and teaching points afterwards. Understood?" she shouted.
The students nodded, getting into a queue. Nobody wanted to be at the back and so there was a lot of shuffling.
"One of you have to go first!" said the teacher with a sigh. "You can go first!" she screamed pointing at a random student. "Call your partner over here!" she commanded, pulling the boy onto the battle ground.
The other candidates watched them with pity. Siege watched the battle play out with uninterest. The two candidates dueling were too nervous and unexperienced in hand-to-hand combat. It showed how much people depended on their powers.
The battle went on until one body hovered over the other, their hand awkwardly placed over the other's neck.
"The battle's over! You can let him go!" shouted the teacher, sighing and slamming her hand on the desk.
"Next..." she said sarcastically, calling over another pair. The fight went a little better than the last. They both knew what they were doing and the battle had some intense moments.
"Disappointing..." muttered the teacher, which made Siege mad. His dark expression turned into a sinister one, and he stood up without realizing it. The fight paused and everyone waiting looked up at him.
"Huh, what are you doing man?" his partner whispered, glancing at Madam Athena, who was staring at Siege with keen interest.
"I challenge you to a Duel!" Siege murmured. "A hand-to-hand combat! No powers! No weapons!" he commanded, his aura burning brighter than ever before.
The teacher watched the boy, wide-eyed and shocked. She smiled, a smile forming on her face. "Very interesting..." she muttered, taking a step toward Siege.
"You messed with the wrong teacher!" Madam Athena replied, emotionless. She rolled up her sleeves and called Siege forward.
"Will it be a Death Duel..." she asked.
Siege faltered. 'A Death Duel? Can I really-' he thought to himself. "No" Siege finally answered, taking a step back and forming a stance.
"Huh, fine by me! Let the Death Duel begin!" she screamed, rushing towards Siege.
Everyone else in the class watched the idiotic boy stare as Madam Athena ran towards him. Some of them looked away, not wanting to see the horrors Madam Athena will inflict on the poor youth. But others sneered, laughing at the candidates stupidity.
Most people would accept to fact that the teachers at the camp were some of the best in the world and they had many years of training.

Siege felt his body feel stronger and stronger with each new notification. "Huh, this will be fun!" he muttered as he casually moved to the side with ease. It was so quick that some students missed it.
"He's so f*cking quick!" someone screamed.
"Holy..."
"Inspect" Siege muttered...
