The Nafan Training Camp was one of the leading training camps in the nation. The mastermind behind it all was Divine Council member Manfran, who built the 25 years prior to Siege Damon's birth. He built it a couple years after joining the Divine Council.
The camp was named in memory of his son, Nafan, who died of 'mysterious circumstances' but rumor has it that he was very ill throughout his childhood and the doctors where unable to save Nafan when his health condition worsened...
But the Training Camp's popular had decreased over the years, due to the war against the mysterious Generois species. There was an attack that the camp would never fully recover from. Therefore the camp was quickly forgotten about by the council. But to the common civilians, it was just as impressive as any other camp.
The camp had an unusually high acceptance rate of five unlike most higher tier camps, which only allowed a maximum of three people to pass the Training Camp. A badge was awarded to those who passed the training camp to signify their success. These people would be treated much much more care and respect during the time for 'The Process' and it's many challenges...

Siege couldn't fall asleep. He felt a mix of emotions as he lay on the top bunk of the bed. He thought about Floor 1 and how it would push him to the limit. He had barely made it through the Entrance Exam and so he had a lack of motivation for completing the challenge.
He wondered how anyone could sleep through the first night of the camp. Underneath him, a boy called Maximillian Tuffin was snoring away which made it even more troublesome to go to sleep.
The first time they met, Siege didn't like the boy. He was always in a cheery mood and there was something about him that Siege despised. Max, which is what he preferred to be called, was 6f, 2 whilst Siege stood at 6f. His long blonde hair covered one eye. Siege had noticed that he had heterochromia, a condition that caused him to have different eye colors. This right eye shone blue whilst the other was sea green.
But mistaking Max as being a weakling will be a mistake. Unlike his positive character, Max was a beast physically. He was quit smart too, although he doesn't show it all the time.
But after a little while together in their dorms, Siege quickly came to accept him as his roommate, although, like Violet said, he tried not to get too close.
They talked about training, where each other was from. Both of them were cautious about what they told each other. They tried their best to not give away information that might benefit the other when it comes to the training.
*Sigh*
'I made it this far, I can't give up now...' he thought, his mind free of all his thoughts. He slowly drifted away to sleep...

"Do we have data on all students?"
"Yes, Ma'am"
"Good..."

A loud siren blared across the Training Camp, awaking Siege and Max.
"Morning, Siege!" Max said, half asleep. He talked to Siege as if they had known each other for years. Siege didn't reply, and climbed down the bunk bed, waiting for further instructions. He had a vague idea how the the Training Camp would work.
"Good morning, Trainee Students, please get ready and make your way to the Training Hall downstairs, Thank you!" said a voice whom Siege didn't recognize.
"How many people do you think work here?" Max asked, opening the bathroom door.
"Hundreds..." Siege muttered.
"Hundreds? Surely not"
"There are many people working behind the scenes to make all this happen. Not everything is as simple as it looks. They're all getting paid by the Divine Government. They don't really care about us" Siege replied, trying to manipulate Max.
"Hmm, I don't really care to be honest. I'm just trying to make my family proud by doing decently in life..." Max replied, making the conversation positive like usual.

In the training hall, a few students were already having small conversations in groups. The driver stood at the front, giving people who had just arrived a sheet of paper with a number on it.
"For those who have just arrived, this is a sheet of paper with a number on it. It is used to verify your identity. Please get refreshments from the canteen. And don't worry, everything you can buy here is free because you ALL deserve to be here..." he said, handing Siege and Max a sheet.
"Number 13" Siege whispered, placing the sheet in his trousers pocket. He joined the queue of people waiting to get breakfast. Just as he did so, he heard a shout from the other side of the hall.
"Look at him guys, he thinks he deserves to be here!" a kid mocked a younger boy knelt down in front of him.
"Please just leave me al-" the boy cried as the foot came crashing down on his face. Siege saw blood gushing out of the boy's nose. Some kids behind Siege showed concern for the boy whilst others laughed it off. Any signs of weakness could mean you could become the next target.
The driver, who was watching the whole scene play out, stood in silence emotionless. Siege narrowed his eyes and watched him carefully. "He was instructed not the interfere" Siege muttered, seeing the small device on the man's shirt.
Siege ignored the fight, ordering the food and leaving the cafeteria. After all, the start of Floor One was just fifteen minutes away...
