“Aisha Yang!”
Aisha turned to where the familiar voice called out to her. Mare’s concerned face zoomed in the moment she locked eyes with the demoness, and Carmilla wasn’t too far behind. The two of them hovered over Aisha who was still shocked from her earlier experience.
Mare and Carmilla exchanged looks of worry as if to ask if it was a wrong decision to bring Aisha along in the end. The human was still intact, that was much relief on their side. But she was too dazed even after they brought her to the nearest balcony to have a breather.
“Are you alright?” Mare asked Aisha as her hands squished her tiny face.
‘Did something happen? Mare and Carmilla couldn’t dare to break the dance. Demons of high society take their dances seriously,’ Carmilla raised her notepad with fast scribbled sentences, ‘Carmilla is sorry.’
“Speak, Aisha Yang,” Mare shook Aisha, to which snapped her back to reality as the shaking was rather too vigorous for comfort.
