“How is it?” Seth asked, his eyes focused on every slight change of Carmilla’s expression. There was little to none, if there was any at all, which made Seth even more curious to her decision who the winner was.
The demoness that served the 3rd Harbinger was as silent and expressionless as she had always been. Seth had offered himself and Cain to be involved with judging, but Carmilla insisted that he and even her master was bound to be biased in their verdict. The 7th Harbinger turned to Cain, but he didn’t disagree with Carmilla’s opinion either.
The demoness took a spoonful of each of Mare’s dishes. She would pause for a few seconds, then scribble her conclusion in her notepad. Carmilla turned towards Aisha’s dishes, and did the same mechanically as if she truly was non-biased with her job as the sole judge of the cooking battle.
“How is it?” the 7th Harbinger repeated, to which Carmilla raised a slightly annoyed brow at him.
