To defuse the situation slightly, and step away from the raging Alpha who was barely able to control his emotions, Jade took a step away. An angry alpha was to be kept away from.
"Excuse me, A-Alpha," she stuttered and bowed her head slightly before she walked out of the room in a hurry.
Her feet took small, quick steps out of the building just as fast as her racing heart.
The worst thing she wanted to happen was for him to mark her and make her his bitch forever. She had to get away from it because if he did come on marking her then no one would stop him. In fact, since Malfrid was thirty, they would all enjoy it.
A few faces turned to look at her but Jade did not give them any of her attention. With her head set straight in the direction she wanted to go in, she did not look any other way and no one came to her. Only when she walked a bit deeper in the forest, did Jade slow down and let the smile come to her face.
