Jade was washing her hands and she watched as the mud washed away into the sink as she scrubbed it off her skin.
She had just come from the outside after she had buried the bird into the soil near a tree.
She had gone slightly deeper into the forest before finding a spot hidden by the vegetation.
Everyone knew that the bird would not survive for long on one leg which was why Jade put it out of its misery.
Her master would provide her with another bird anyway so why not kill the bird and bury it somewhere.
So, Jade had snapped its neck after she had called the bird early in the morning. She had made sure that the house was empty and that the wolves that were in charge of watching her had already left. What they were gone for, Jade could only guess. However, it must’ve been important enough to lay their eyes off of her.
