Martha and Holly both helped the Queen to get ready for her travel. They prepared the bath, served the breakfast, and dressed the Queen in warm yet elegant clothes.
Martha also made sure to neatly tie the Queen’s hair into a beautiful and elaborate bun that was decorated with extraordinary hair accessories that were embedded with rare stones.
And although Anastasia didn’t want to apply any artificial makeup on her face, Martha insisted on it saying, “You are going to make an appearance in the public as the Queen. You need to look the part, my Queen.”
Anastasia settled on doing light makeup – just a bit of rose on the cheeks and tint on the lips so as to make her pale face somewhat livelier.
After everything was done, Anastasia got up on her feet and checked the full reflection of herself in the mirror. She was just checking to see if everything was in place.
