"Girls! This is the last time I'll call you. The food is ready!" Zia screamed for the umpteenth time.
She was glad Maria was back and that she had just Marco to worry about. However, she wanted to strangle the girls sometimes. Especially days like this. First, they had spent the previous night drinking themselves to a stupor.
Then they had sat her down and made her listen to sob stories. After that, they both took turns in throwing up. This whole circle continued until they passed out. Zia had to stay up all night cleaning after their mess.
It was not like she did not enjoy taking care of her girls, but it was very overwhelming sometimes.
"Oh, dear Zia, please keep it down. My head hurts like hell," Ursula said as they came down the stairs.
While Ursula's steps were more urgent, Maria's were slower. Zia guessed the smell of food had brought Ursula back to life.
