Ursula and Zia sat in the large living room of the Caruso estate, watching the news. It was a few days after the morning that Ursula and Maria returned home, but Maria was still not back from wherever she had gone.
It was as they watched the news that it began to dawn on them precisely what their darling Maria was up to.
"No, she did not," Ursula gasped in surprise. She had made a bet with Zia that as long as Maria was not able to expose the Santoro's at the event, she was not going to use the flash against them anymore.
Zia had insisted that Maria was too pissed at them not to want to hit them in a place that hurts. They had brought back this exact conversation yesterday when Ursula told Zia they saw Vincenzo at the resort.
