"Does it taste that good, Zia? And don't lie to me. I saw your face," Ursula asked once Maria was out of earshot.
"Okay, fine, it was a little too sweet, and this is coming from an Italian. While it's good to use flavors, there's also something like going overboard. It's like she just went crazy with it," Zia replied, bewildered. Ursula began to laugh uncontrollably again, and this time around, the two women joined her.
"Okay, but let's not be this way. The good thing is she made something. While it might be you know a lot over, it looks good," Aunt Nora, with the angle of silver lining, said.
"Bless the soul who is going to eat that," Zia said under her breath, and Ursula laughed.
"I don't pity the soul at all. It's what he deserves," Ursula replied and moved to take another apple.
