The original Caruso mansion was famous for two things. First, its architecture, secondly it's a landmark. The mansion itself was situated in the heart of the Caruso Snr estate. This estate was popular for its insane designs.
There was no other place in the whole of Milan that could boast of such structures. The idea of the estate was gotten from the biblical description of heaven. Its street was painted with gold which was a testament to the wealth the name alone carried. It was also designed in such a way that everywhere just glittered.
This was why Ludovia Caruso died by that name. When she first met the patriarch and only existing holder of the name, she was just a mere serving girl. The day she laid her eyes on him was the very day she swore to do everything in her power to get him. And she did everything in her power to get him.
