[Ding! Garden of Sword Assassins killed: 4/10.]

[Ding! Due to Player Naoto forming a party with three different girls, experience gained will be calculated. Due to Harem Seeker title, awarded experience will rise by 150%. Now calculating experience gained...]

Hearing these notifications sound off inside my mind, it was music to my ears.

Guess Ines and Ennea were busy themselves. Not to mention, after that fiasco in the bathroom, Sharon left Alisa's safety to me after learning who I was. I showed her my identity as a Jaeger. It seems even my name reached the Reinford Group. I am now a Captain of Zephyr, which is one of the most prominent Jaeger Corps in Western Zemuria. Once I showed Sharon my armor, she left Alisa to me. But in return, I invited Sharon into the party system. She was surprised to see a sudden screen appear before her, but seeing she wasn't alone now, she knew what she had to do, and joined in the night raid. Ines, Ennea, and Sharon were now temporarily in my party.

And since I could change the party settings to my benefit, there was no way I was going to turn down free experience like this. It's definitely scummy, but if you had the option to do so, why not, right?

As far as the assassins themselves went, they all seemed to have split up to cause distractions in the building itself. I had already killed the first one, but the three in my party were able to kill one of each.

Fast forwarding to where Alisa and I are currently on the side of the building, Alisa couldn't see the very faint yellow glow that appeared around my body the moment I heard that tune sound off inside my head, likely because this aura was only visible to me. It was the Level up aura. These assassins were around the same level as I was, so my level shot up a few times from 100.

I couldn't help but reveal a grin seeing this experience gain, letting my fangs protrude outward. Alisa blinked her eyes again seeing my fangs.

"It's weird with you doing that.", Alisa retorted me, seeing me smile like this. "Even if you said those teeth of yours are real, I'm still having doubts.", Alisa continued to say. Hearing that, my grin turned into a smile.

"Heh, want to try it out to see if they're real or not?", I retorted back.

"You wouldn't dare.", Alisa said, becoming a bit angry herself the moment I heard that. Yet contrary to what she just said, I heard another notification sound off inside my mind, one I didn't think would happen until this mission was over, since it was one of the mission rewards. Guess everything is not all bound, eh?

[Ding! Alisa's curiosity about Player Naoto has reached its peak, and is determined to try and find out what or who you are. Favorability has been unlocked with Alisa Reinford.]

[Ding! Alisa's Favorability has risen to 10%]

Hearing that notification sound off, I blinked my eyes, before trying to turn my head again toward Alisa. However when Alisa saw me attempt to turn my head again, she quickly spoke out.

"W-Wait! I told you not to turn around last time, didn't I!?", Alisa suddenly yelled out, only to feel embarrassed as she did. Hearing this, I stopped my motion, only to let out a laugh.

"Haha. The breeze must feel nice for you.", I responded to Alisa with a laugh, which caused Alisa's cheeks to turn a bit red out of embarrassment.

"Hmph. I'm not going to talk to you anymore. I probably shouldn't have gotten associated with you in the first place.", Alisa said, scoffing at me a bit.

"That's a bit late, ain't it?", I retorted back, seeing Alisa behave like this. Now that's the character I was used to. Alisa was as classic tsundere as one could get.

Yet seeing Alisa turn quiet like this, I shrugged my shoulders a bit, and focused on the task at hand again.

Before the two of us could do anything though, we blinked, as another shadowy cloaked figure launched themselves at us, seemingly coming from the rooftop. Seeing the fifth assassin appear, my eyes turned cold. Alisa felt a cold draft as well but she saw my seriousness as another attack was launched at us.

The cloaked figure struck out with a metal sword in hand. My feet were still firmly planted on the side thanks to my active Mana Walk, but I could see my EP constantly being drained as a result. The other party didn't seem to mind where we were though, and they tried to strike out right at my neck. Thankfully I was quick to react, and reached for my sword, only to block it. Tink!

A sole sound of clashing metal struck our ears, causing Alisa to become dazed. I felt her grip tighten around me, making sure she wouldn't fall off.

Despite my rapier being a much thinner blade, it still blocked the one-handed sword perfectly. The assassin couldn't budge from their current position. I then kicked out, putting force into my leg and struck the assassin directly. Bang!

A large force blasted the assassin back a bit. Since we were on the side of the building again, the assassin flew up as a result. I didn't stop there either. Letting my mana forth, I traced my spare hand along the blade of my rapier, only for it to start shining in a white glow. Alisa blinked seeing my rapier glow like this, as I activated my skill. My ATS converted its stats into my STR for a bonus, and I struck out.

"Piercing Light!", I struck out, dashing forward on the side of the building. The assassin couldn't react quick enough before I reappeared behind him. A sound of piercing flesh struck our ears, only for the assassin to yell out in pain.

"Ahhh!", The assassin yelled out in pain, only to find a hole pierced directly in their chest. Blood splattered onto my blade. Due to the overwhelming power of the Piercing Light skill, the life in the assassin's eyes quickly began to fade away. They died right then and there, and their body began to skid on the side of the building, creating a long stretch of blood as it continued to fall into the depths below...

With my feet glued again onto the wall, I took this time to shake off the blood on my rapier, making sure not to direct any of it toward Alisa.

[Ding! Garden of Sword assassin killed: 5/10].

"That was a bit sudden. You alright, Alisa?", I said in a more normal tone seeing as I had just gotten my second kill of the night.

"Yeah. You sure do react pretty quickly there. Nowhere is safe in my home huh?", Alisa said with a frown.

"Most of the fun is happening inside, but there's a leader who is behind this. There always is one. They are probably using the assassins as a distraction. We should hurry.", i said.

"Right.", Alisa said, confirming my words with a nod of her head.

And they were likely to be on the top of this building. THe other three were panning the inside, so the rooftop was the only place left to check.

With that in mind, I kept my Mana Walk active, and proceeded to run along the side of the building, ignoring the rest of the floors altogether...
