Later that night.

Somewhere above the skies between Erebonia's and Liberl's airspace. The moon was starting rise into the starry sky above. Minimal clouds wafted around, creating a clear view of the lands below. With the winds blowing, a sole shadow quickly streaked across the skies. If one looked closely, they wouldn't even be able to see this shadow. It was a small airship of sorts, but it was currently cloaked, as it was passing by military airspace between two countries. Thanks to their cloaking device, standard military ships couldn't pick up this small aircraft that was quickly travelling through the skies.

In fact, having such a cloaking device was unheard of with Zemuria's current technology. It was not available to the public yet. It's only been about fifty years since science started to improve leaps and bounds, but it was the work of a certain scientist who was crazy about his work to create such a thing. Right now, such technology was only in the position of certain organizations, one residing in the shadows that loom over this land.

But such an organization is where a certain violet haired boy was currently working for, more of a partner rather than a subordinate. For that reason could he be seen on this fast moving airship, as this cloaked airship belonged to this organization.

As the cold wind of the skies high above passed through, this boy could be seen standing on deck toward the eastern side, away from the front where the main deck was. As he watched on the never-ending clouds, the boy marveled such as scene since he wasn't able to experience this in his past life. Feeling the breeze thousands of feet into the air without worrying about the dangers. It gave a sense of freedom.

Thinking that, I smile wrapped around my face. I could no longer be seen wearing my royal gown I use back in the castle. In fact most of my body was covered in a black cloak, hiding away most of it. Besides a fancy hilt over my waist that is, as I was equipped and ready for combat. But knowing that there was no danger for the present, I couldn't help but think of a certain song to play in my head for when people travelled by air like this.

As I began to hum that song to myself for a couple moments, I soon heard the hissing of a door not too far away, ending the free time that I had to myself.

"So this is where you were, Young Master.", Ennea's voice called out to me, only to reveal a fully armored Ennea. She too was dressed in a cloak similar to mine to obscure the view. After all, we were essentially on an assassination request provided by Campanella, but according to him as long as the target is wiped of his name, it doesn't matter if the person who I need to kill is actually killed or not. If things are going to play out as Campanella informed, it sounds like Nadia is already in that "Factory" to where they raise assassins for the Garden. I am not sure if Swin is in the picture yet, but just for Nadia alone, he is likely seeking a way out somehow, should he still have his feelings of not wanting to involve his sister in his line of work.

Seeing Ennea arrive from the left, I slowly turned my head toward her.

"I'm just enjoying the night breeze. After all, tonight's going to be a night doused in blood. Though should it come to it, I'd rather hope it won't come to such a thing.", I calmly said, welcoming Ennea beside me. Though to my surprise, I felt Ennea wrap her hands around my back, giving me a hug.

"Such is the life of an assassin as they say. Are you sure you're up for this, Young Master? I knew it's been a few years since we've seen each other, but I really am not sure if you're ready for this kind of business.", Ennea asked, feeling a bit worried. Seeing her worried only brought a smile to my face.

"You probably don't know yet like the others do, but I took a certain path after we parted ways when you went to go train under the Seventh Anguis. I have more blood on my hands than you think.", I began to say, which caused Ennea to blink at me.

"Is that really the case?", Ennea asked feeling surprised at such a thing. "I do know you have...that particular skillset you showed back in the caves, but I don't see you using it much.", Ennea continued to wonder.

"Well, to put it simply, I decided to join the Jaeger line of work. In the time we haven't seen each other, I've partaken in more battlefields than you might know.", I answered Ennea, only to cause her to blink at me.

"A Jaeger...", Ennea uttered. "Now it makes sense to why you have such a stature. You've killed before, haven't you, Young Master?", Enna decided to have.

"I have. But I could say the same to you, right? Such is being a member of the Stahlritter.", I responded, only to look back at Ennea.

"Teehee, who knows? If anything, killing allows one to be more decisive, so I do hope this mission tonight will go as you want it too, Young Master.", Ennea responded with a giggle.

Hearing that, I parted ways from her hug, only to look at Ennea again. My eyes turned serious which caused her to blink at me.

"But you know what? I can't really go looking like this, right? Sure we have these cloaks, but we are heading back to Roer. If they detect that either the Phoenix House or Liberl is part of this, things could go south pretty quickly. You are aware of that other part of me, right?", I asked, revealing a grin.

The moment I asked that, Ennea looked at me, only to slowly nod her head.

"You are referring to...that, aren't you?", Ennea uttered softly. Hearing that, I walked up right to Ennea. Despite Ennea still being a bit taller than me, I tilted my chin upward and looked right at her. As I did, I began to trace my finger along Ennea's neck, which took her by surprise a bit, only for me to bear my fangs which had yet to take shape of what Ennea was referring to.

"How about I make you completely mine, in both mind and body?", I said, revealing a grin. When I said that Ennea began to blush.

"Young Master...", Ennea tried to say. Sadly she couldn't continue her words, as we heard the sound of a hissing door again, only to reveal another cloaked figure exit onto the deck.

"So this is where you two were--?", Ines began to say, only to see me with my mouth open not too far away from Ennea. Seeing this, Ines blinked at me. "Was I disturbing something?", Ines asked seeing the two of us.

Hearing that, I retracted my finger and turned toward Ines.

"You came at a good time. Since you're here Ines, I'll get right to the point. Has Campanella said anything about me to the two of you?", I decided to ask.

"I'm...not sure. If the Fool has told us anything, I doubt it's anything special. I just came out to tell you two that we are two hours away from Roer.", Ines said, only to be confused.

"Is that so? It'd probably be best to show you two this sooner than later, but like I was telling Ennea, it would be bad for me to go in like this for how I currently look. So you just came in time. You're about to see something fun.", I revealed a grin again, which caused Ines to blink at me.

Before the two could react to anything else, I retreated back into my mind, only for me to will a certain skill to appear, one that has not been activated since the time I spent down in the cult. I didn't even dare use it during the time I spent as a Jaeger. Ennea watched on as Ines's eyes began to turn wide in surprise as she saw my body soon become enveloped in a bloody aura...

To test the waters, using Naoto's "Other", form, you all want to see a lemon scene this early?

Also I've started to notice, if I use my desktop to post chapters with Webnovel's timer, I don't see a mobile notification for when the chapter gets posted (it's always 30 minutes out), but when I do use the mobile timer, it delivers the notification. Does anyone else experience something similar?
