Dem's Point of View
I am standing here now outside my Mom's ward talking to the nurse about the fees when suddenly there were doctors and nurses running towards my mom's room.
I gasped in no time when I realized what was happening. I immediately ran inside, and the first thing that came up to me was a male doctor who was busy pumping mom's chest while her monitor was now straight.
"Clear!" the doctor repeatedly said, "Let's take him to the OR right now!"
"Yes, Doc—"
"W-Wait---"
"Ma'am, you'll be out here for now." I would have struggled even more but two nurses held me on both my shoulders.
"Mom! No!" they hurried momy to the operating room.
"Ma'am, you're only up to here." I would have spoken more because I wanted to see mom, but they had already closed the door to OR. I went back to where I was walking as I bit my own fingernail on my thumb.
