His strong cologne hung on to her nostrils. The scent alone was enough to lighten up her mood and after she was done sobbing silently in his embrace, she disengaged and dried up her tears with the napkin which lay on the table. She was embarrassed that the first time she met, she had shown that she was vulnerable and cried easily.
" I'm sorry. My name's Charline," she introduced herself, handing out her hand for a shake.
" It's okay Charline. It hurts, I know. Do you wanna get out of this toxic place?" Matt said as he stood up handing out his palm for her to pull up herself. " I'm Matt, by the way," he revealed as they both walked out.
