Akuro hovered over the destruction below him. The land was scorched black and when the aura faded out of the atmosphere the land was left obliterated as far as the eye could see, earth turn asunder and any sign of life that had once been now gone.
A slight grin began to tug at the edges of Akuro's lips as he stared down at the destruction below him. Even without his reality bending power, he was the strongest being above all others. Nothing could stop him.. and all he wanted was to destroy more.
He raised his hand above his head and black aura began to condense into his palm.
Then he stopped, a vortex of aura appearing in the air. He shuddered as he felt an intense pressure, not much different from his own, from the other side of the vortex.
And then a figure flashed through it, exploding straight for Akuro, the two bodies crashing into one another and flying through the air until they crashed to the land below, a shockwave sending quakes through the earth.
The attacker held Akuro to the ground by the throat, waves of pressure and black aura flying through the air like an erupting volcano of shadows while shockwaves repeat early shot out, causing craters to form into the earth as they sank deeper and deeper down.
Akuro planted his foot against the attacker's chest, then used all of his strength to kick them through the air, sending them flying back and skidding to a stop only a few yards away.
Getting to his feet, Akuro flared up at who had just attacked him.. then froze. What looked back at him in that moment.. was himself. But it wasn't exactly the same. This... version of him.. was covered in scars from head to toe, his hair was longer and more messy while his eyes were that of a wrathful dragon and his body was much more muscular.
He wore nothing more than a black cloak that was torn, exposing his chest and arms, and torn jeans. Black scales covered his lower arms and horns grew from his head while thick waves of black aura chaotically swirled about his back and body like wings.
"Who the fuck are you?" Akuro asked.
"I should ask the same of you." The other asked. "My name is Akura, now tell me, why the fuck do you look like me?"
Akuro then recalled how Kasziel had once said there were other versions of himself from other dimensions.. some of which were stronger than him.
"You aren't from here, are you?" Akuro asked.
Akura, as his name was, looked about him at his surroundings. "Now that you say it.. this does not look like Purgatory at all."
"Purgatory?"
Akura looked at Akuro like he was stupid. "You don't know what purgatory is? Dumbass, it's our home. Our world, our universe?"
"Sorry, but this is a different reality." Akuro said.
"Different.. reality?"
"Has Azazel not tried to tell you before? I thought he'd tried to get other versions of me already."
"You know Azazel?" Akura asked.
"I do. Do you?"
"Yeah.." Akura's aura suddenly became more intense, a psychotic grin crossing his face. "I'm the one who almost killed him.."
Akuro shuddered, though he didn't show any sign of being wary. He had to keep his wits, it was just incredible and unbelievable to find another version of himself seemingly by luck.. or bad luck it would seem.
"So you are saying you work with Azazel then..?" Akura asked, bowing his head.
Akuro was quiet for a moment. Then answered, "I do... and you need to leave." Akuro released his own pressure to combat Akura's.
"Ha.. HAHAA! LOOK KID.. I DONT GIVE A DAMN IF YOU ARE ME... DONT PUSH YOUR FUCKING LUCK, I WILL RIP OUT YOUR FUCKING THROAT.."
Akuro clenched his fists, the God Slayer manifesting in his left hand. "Come test your luck then."
Akura stopped laughing suddenly, staring blankly at Akuro.
"You're a cocky bitch, aren't you?"
"You are one to be talking." Akuro responded.
"Haha, well, maybe we are similar.. doesn't mean you stand a chance against me.."
"You seem to like the sound of your own voice." Akuro spoke, now only getting irritated. "Now stop being a little bitch and get over here and fight me."
Akura's eyes suddenly went cold.
"Watch it."
"I doubt you could make me regret my words, seeing as words are the only thing you know how to use."
*KOOM*
Akura dashed at Akuro, his fist now caught in Akuro's palm, a shockwave erupting outwards and tearing up the earth. The two stood there, eyes locked as the immense pressure given off from both of them caused gravity to drop almost completely, the earth breaking apart and rising into the sky, making it look like some kind of fantasy floating island setting.
"Are you looking to die?" Akura asked.
Akuro grinned calmly, realizing his advantage here. Akura had emotions, he did not.
"I doubt you could do the job even if I let you." Akuro mocked.
Akura's eyes suddenly went wide as his irises shrank. His other fist then shot forward, an explosion of aura knocking Akuro off of his feet and obliterating the land.
Akuro spun in the air, planting his feet against a floating Boulder before launching down at Akura, swinging the God Slayer at unimaginable speed. Akura either deflected or dodged each strike, dancing side to side as the strikes destroyed the landscape.
Then Akura dashed forward, using his lower arm to block the scythe's swing, crushing the earth below him from the impact before he crashed his foot down. Black aura enveloped the earth and caused a chunk of land to jut upwards, knocking Akuro off his feet towards Akura who then threw his fist forward, crashing it into Akuro's skull and slamming him into the earth, creating a crater.
Akuro placed his hands against the ground, infusing his aura with the rock before it suddenly erupted upwards, knocking both him and Akura into the air. Now I'm the air, Akuro heaved his scythe over his head, then threw it through the air, sending it streaming towards Akura who planted his foot against the blade and launched himself toward Akuro.
Akuro leapt at Akura as the God Slayer reformed in his hand. He shifted his body shot that he flew just barely past Akura while the blade of his scythe bit into Akura's throat. Both of them soared towards the earth where Akuro spun through the air and shot Akura to the ground before crashing down on top of him.
"Who were you saying was overconfident now?" Akuro said mockingly.
Then Akuro stopped. Black aura, not his, began to coil up from Akura. And he couldn't absorb it.
Akuro leapt away and watched as Akura rose to his feet, his body completely blotted out by his waves of aura now.
"The hell?" Akuro then realized that Akura didn't even have an Aura Cloak yet.. then his eyes widened. Akura hadn't been fighting seriously yet.
Suddenly the chaotic aura began to condense down around Akura's body, taking the form of solid black plates of armor that clung tightly to his figure while about his head was a helm and mask similar to that of a black dragon's head. Black blades of different shapes and sizes formed about his back like wings. Even though his Aura Cloak now had a physical form, there were still seemingly endless waves of aura chaotically storming around him.
The aura then began to condense around Akura's body, creating four large orbs of black. This was something Akuro had never seen before..
'It seems even if he is another version of me..' Akuro thought, 'he still has different abilities from me.'
Akura suddenly lurched forward before his body suddenly zipped out of view and reappeared point blank in front of Akuro, who had no time to dodge. Akura clasped Akuro's head then pulled his down and crashed his knee into Akuro's face, crushing his skull completely before a blast wave sent him flying backwards through the air.
Akuro skid across the earth, his wound healing almost instantly as he came to a stop and turned up to face Akura. He clenched his teeth. 'It seems the curse mark has no affect on him.. why?'
Akura was now walking towards Akuro. One of the black orbs drifted lazily towards the ground, which was instantaneously ripped asunder and absorbed into the shadow.
They were black holes.
Akuro clenched his fists. It wouldn't be an easy fight.. his strongest abilities were his Dark Implosion and his Negative Presence (when his pressure causes things he comes close to to be torn apart or erased completely, basically making his body into a black hole) which were mostly physical attacks. It would be hard to get close to Akura when he has those orbs floating around him.
Akura stopped walking then and raised his hand. No expression could be seen behind the cold black mask, but Akuro could hear the maniacal laugh coming from him.
"Do me a favor.. and die." Akura said, then suddenly waves of black needles shot out towards Akuro, who dashed back and leapt upwards. As the needles struck the earth, they suddenly sucked everything near them inwards before they grew into larger balls of condensed aura that would then explode outwards. Each of the hundreds of daggers was like a miniature Dark Implosion. And Akuro was not able to dodge all of them.
As he kept trying to make distance between him and the daggers, one of them suddenly sunk deftly into his leg.
"Fuck.."
