Chapter 2 - Chapter one Past memories Past Memories

Mathilda could hear her mom's voice from down the stairs she just came back from school and was rushing to tell her mom about the compliment her teacher had given her over the cup cake she made...although she did it with the help of her mother, but most of the work were made by her...she was just 10 and was having the best life a 10 year old could ask for...walking closer to near her parents room she heard the voice of her dad..."wow dad's around today... he'd be so happy to hear about the compliment my teacher gave me"...she said to herself

"how could you? how could you bring her into our matrimonial home"

Mathilda heard her mom said just as she was about to get in

"what if Mathilda had come home before me and saw the scene I just did her mom said again she heard her dad say something but she couldn't figure out what it is that he said his voice was very low unlike the way he normally sounds when he talks

tears was already rolling down from her eyes but the next word she heard made her cry out loud

"let's get divorced"

" I think I have been patience with you, you promised to never let it happen again but you've done it over and over again...I think it's about time I let you go

that was all she could remember from that night...she had never seen her dad since then although he had been supporting financially he had never came over to visit her...maybe he was ashamed of what he did or didn't care she had thought to herself but either way she was glad that she didn't have to see him she had hated him since that day

Mathilda!!!...she heard her mom called out her name " come on I'm all set let's start heading out...how long would it take for you to bring out your luggages?

"I'd be right there mom"....."okay be quick about it"

they were actually moving out and she was now a 22 year old although she had acted like she was alright but what her father did gave her a very long mark no matter how trusting a man was she couldn't bring herself to trusting him not one and she was sure that she would never trust any man ever

she was happy that they were finally leaving this place at least she was going to leave the past behind and reshape her life in bettering herself...whenever she enters the house she was always reminded about that night, now that she was leaving it she felt very happy and relieved that she won't be experiencing it anymore...although she had a lot of fun memories here but they were all overshadowed by the bad one

she had talked to her mother about her uneasiness about staying on the house and to her greatest surprise her mother had immediately agreed...she was expecting them to go into an argument but non of that happened and she was happy about that....finally she was moving out of this hell whole.

hello there "..." I just started writing this is my first work I'd really appreciate it if you'd support me...thank you
