I asked Mr. Chin to add extra shifts for me; I know it sounds selfish of me because obviously other people need the money as bad as I think I do. But mine is urgent, and we have been noticing more things at home. I asked him first, on an early Tuesday morning. I had some many thoughts and worries on my mind, honestly health is wealth and we humans are just very ungrateful.
"Good morning Mr. Chin," I beeped at him
"Morning Morning," he repeated. He was always rushing or on his way out or to somewhere. He always has a smile plastered on his face, I thought it's because he was in a country that wasn't his, but I have gotten to realize that, that's just how his face is.
"Sir, please I want to request, or beg. Anything. I just need an extra shift" I needed to make more money with the news I got at home the night before.
