"Father?" I was surprised. What did father have to do with my court case?
"He wants you to be a witness? For me? It cannot be! He is up to his old ways of competing with me right now."
Father had a strong company, we all have good lawyers backing us up, but as the old saying goes once a player always a player. More like once in the game, then you know the game.
"No, that's why we have been telling you it's beyond just a lie." Anita looked more worried, what was she hiding? If she is telling me that dad is making her to serve as a witness against me, then it means she already agreed?
"Anita?" I gave her the look. She knew it meant start talking.
"Don't do that Noah, just listen to your lawyers. Father is building a high case against you" she wasn't going to budge. But I knew for a fact that, I could get my way around this.
