Andy's POV
The food was already getting prepared and the kitchen was starting to feel a little bit stuffy, right before Ash opened the window a little, in order to let out some of the steam from the boiling pot. We still weren't saying a thing to each other yet, for over ten minutes, while working together here in the kitchen. I hadn't really done anything except to slice some stuff for Ash. Ash had wanted to be the one to completely prepare the food tonight and I wasn't going to complain.
I ran my fingers over my hair as I pressed my back against the counter firmly, breathing out a small sigh after a few moments. The silence between the both of us was starting to drag out and I hated how I was so much aware of it. It was almost feeling like we were both trapped in an uncomfortable silence, which none of us was ready to break yet.
