Dante was a fun company to Juliette. Dante was funny and he made Juliette laugh because of his quirky answers. Juliette felt as though she had made friends for the first time.
You see, with Juliette's intelligence, spoiled, materialistic, and stuck-up personality, making friends was pretty tough. People didn't really fancy the idea of being friends with her as she always acted smart and always thought she was right (although most of the time, she was).
They drank beer together and sat in the living room with Salvatore, who just sat with them like a human CCTV, with his unleaving eyes.
"Why are you guarding us like we're about to do something illegal?" Dante remarked to Salvatore while chuckling.
"Boss just ordered me to kill you if you ever do something funny with Miss Ervings."
Salvatore's response made Juliette quiver a bit because of uneasiness, but it made Dante laugh. Juliette couldn't figure out if they were just joking around or not.
